does anyone ever “dream” of being an artist though?  seems like a default fall back for most artists.

    Yeah, dude. Every damn day. I’m stuck working IT, all I want to do is work as a concept design artist or comic book artist. I don’t have time to get all bent out of shape over a damn shirt, though lol. But yeah, dreaming of being an artist is definitely a thing.

    You wanna do some art for MCS? “recognition” and “brand building” could be a thing.

    Why “aspiring” artist?

    From the crap I have seen in museums and galleries across the world, you simply need to say “I am an artist” and no proof or talent is required.

    “Aspiring” appears to be a waste of time.

    The “aspiring” part is aspiring to be recognized as an artist, or to make a living at it. That’s all.

    I think lots of kids aspire to be professional artists.
    The “fallback” is usually something a little more mundane and less creative.
