According to some estimates, there are roughly 4,200 religions in the world and at least 30,000+ sects or branches of Christianity alone (about 1 for every single sentence in the New Testament).
The one true thing we do know about your chosen religion is that it is simply due to the mere accident of where and when you were born, childhood indoctrination or the volunteered choosing or influence of a local sect or religion in the place you reside, work or learn.
