Well, they’ve learned something – they don’t waste dead bodies.
the whole “battery” thing made no sense…I mean, you get more energy from turning a hand-crank than you get from a human’s natural bio-electric field…so why not use that neural jack both ways and make the body do physical labor while the brain is being distracted by shiny pictures?
Now…if they were using the human’s brains as processors…
