   Alcohol facilitates rape (especially things like spousal rape in abusive relationships) by altering impulse control.

   Weather effects rape in that inclement weather reduces people going out. It’s the same with burglary, theft, and all violent crime. That’s how you can correlate the murder rate with ice cream sales.

         Actually, there are articles on the intarwebs that indicate homosexual rape between partners is becoming a problem. Both males and females are apparently reporting these issues more these days.
