        You’re sending American troops onto allied sovereign soil, and you have no proof that Osama is even there, the Pakistanis might spot your guys and take them out. Osama might have the whole place rigged with explosives – he might use children as shields. You might have a spy on your own team that rats you out. It could be a huge victory or an international disaster. It takes brass balls to make that sort of decision, and that’s the kind of decision Bush couldn’t make – Obama did. Yes, the Seals did a fantastic job – but as Commander-in-Chief Obama did a fantastic job too.

        It takes everyone on the team to do a deal like this. Everyone.

      Americans, stop being sour about not having the same president anymore! You know damn well that this is not new behaviour.
      If you want to change the system so bad, lobby your senators, start collecting signatures for a referendum and make them change change the presidency to 10 years or lifetime even – oh wait, that would make it a dictatorship.

      this is just SIX MONTHS after 9/11. In response to a reporters question, President Bush tells the world that he is “truly not that concerned” with catching the man who murdered 3,000 Americans just six months and two days earlier because “we’ve marginalized him.”

      Please note that he ALMOST says “I don’t know where he is, nor do I… (really care).” but catches himself in mid-sentence.

      “He hides in caves while sending young people off to die.”

      Bush had eight years and trillions of dollars to look for Osama Bin Laden. Bush even admitted in several interviews that he wasn’t particularly interested in finding the man who killed 3,000 + Americans on American soil. Obama finds Terrorist Number One in less than three years, and brings him to justice, and he does it without starting another incredibly costly war, or getting any more Americans killed.

      Good luck in 2012, republicans. Your gonna need it.

        Would have been nice if they could have done this within a few months of 911, even though I don’t link him to it it’s the same loose organization so….
        Would have saved all of us from two costly wars and getting the Chinese to own the US note.

        Here’s a thinker: what about what he purports to have done could not have been done by an 8th grader? How hard is it to say ‘ya go do that’?

          We’ve had 43/44 presidents, depending on how you’re counting. Obama isn’t any better or worse than any other ineffectual commander-in-chief. The only reason he’ll ever be remembered is the turmoil of the time he served and the fact that he’s a black man. That being said, the stuttering buffoon before him has to rank right up there with the failures, except to those who can’t admit they were wrong for believing in him.

          What makes him the worse president we’ve ever had?
          I mean, he’s not great, but he’s no worse than Bush and many others in our history. How about fucking Howard Taft? How’s that for a president? Oh I know! Grant!
