      Genetics, baby. Most male models hardly need to work out, as genetics graces them with lean and cut bodies.

      The average person can’t afford to eat fresh and healthier foods, nor have enough money for a gym membership.

      Life sucks. Get used to it.

        You don’t need a gym membership to get in shape. I know most people who work out at home in a garage or home doing resistance training and get buff. Pressups with a weighted backpack or getting a metal bar and adding weighted backpacks to both ends. Usually they fill the sacks with anything they can find, bricks etc.

          It is cheaper to eat healthy, or – if you have a garden, grow your own veg. Most people would lose a stone easy just by quiting soda.

          Gym membership is bullshit, buy an aerobics DVD. Run up and down your stairs. Fill empty bottles with water and go for a run holding them. Regular gym attendees go to pose and hang with their friends. You do not need gym.

            No way is it cheaper to eat healthy. Fresh vegetables are more expensive than canned or frozen. Fresh cuts of good meat are more expensive than hot dogs and fish stick. Growing a garden has the prerequisite of owning sufficient land, which itself can be quite expensive.

              It’s all relative.

              If you’re buying the cheapest and crappiest food in the grocery store, then yeah it’s probably cheapest to eat unhealthy.

              If you’re one of those people who lives on takeout and fast food, then you could probably save some money by switching to healthier foods.

            The equipment makes for a much better workout.

              Yeah I take it back, gym can be great – my local gym has a cycle wired into a playstation with downhill racing game, you can do little tricks and punch people like road rash. Also there is instructors – which are VERY important, cos you can really hurt yourself if you do some exercises wrong. But I mantain that you don’t NEED gym, its easy to do home exercise. And with the right research and effort, you can eat health(ier) for low cost. He says. Eating a chocolate bar. Sitting on his ass. Drinking a coffee with 3 sugars.

      Done a year with Starting strength (well, 9 months, 3 months being an idiot with an isolation split) and plateuing pretty hard now – so going onto German Volume Training to throw myself a curve ball, the hypertrophy is kicking in (ss being 5×5, not exactly BB stuff) and it’s starting to look like a half decent body – I just have to learn how to get to 10% body fat at will, big difference between loosing 6lbs and loosing 3% bodyfat it seems !

      Either that or meet a nice girl and let it all go to shit 🙂

        You have 1 hour a day. Its not hard to watch what you eat and take vitamins. I still eat pizza and donuts all the time.

        Most people that claim to be too busy are the laziest people I’ve ever met and have like 9+ hours a day of free time.

        I like going to the gym. I like lifting weights and using the cardio machines or heavy bag. I’d rather be there than a bar.
