apple has less hardware for a windows/mac os computer than a windows only computer and charges more.
It’s ridiculous.
I apologize to humanity, but I had to upvote Casemods… Macs (except for the motherboard which uses UEFI instead of BIOS) use the SAME hardware as PCs. Same processors (Intel, they ditched their own procs long ago), same ram, same video cards, same hard drives, similar lcd screens, ect. ect. And they charge more for the look, the brand, the “mac snobbiness” and because steve jobs has cancer.
Safari is just about the worst piece of Apple software. Everyone downloads Firefox or Chrome right away. Which doesn’t make it much different than with Internet Explorer.
Google chrome user reporting in because it’s fabulous.
What’s up is you’re using fucking Safari as opposed to a REAL web browser.
Someone who clearly doesn’t know how to use their powerful mac.

There are certain netbooks that you can install retail OSX on with no modifications. Of course APPLE don’t want you to do that.
