How do multiple monitors work.. how do you change between them?
You just move your mouse. It’s the same as having one really big monitor with an annoying grid in the middle, except that getting anything to run across all of them is a pain.
Yeah, I just set up my 2nd monitor as an extension of my laptop monitor.
Depends on the setup. There’s some devices out there that let the computer see multiple screens as one, there’s also the option for as many screens as PCs. I’m sure some high end machines can handle more than two screens. Someone more versed on this should answer this.

The reflections don’t match
Somebody’s a fan of minority report. And 4chan.
My video card (ATI 4850X2) has 4 DVI ports, so I can run 4 monitors from my one computer. My motherboard allows me to add 2 more of the same video card if I wanted, and then run a total of 12 monitors.
That’s the cleanest desk I’ve ever seen belonging to a loser that big.
And no one noticed the one monitor with Encyclopedia Dramatica? Fail 🙁 More fail is the person can spend that much cash on monitors but can’t get a better mouse or keyboard? 🙁
Windows used to support something like 30 monitors. I may have that number off a bit, but it was some ginormous amount of displays.
I always wondered what it would look like to run that many.
