    Whoever they did they did it wrong. The handle is still in it which means it’s safe.

    The story behind this was that the soldier in front of this guy stepped on/was otherwise nearby a land mine when it went off, and the concussion of the blast launched this grenade into the face of this guy.

    Don’t know if he survived or not, although he was alive when this X-ray was taken.

    Looks painful, but damn, what an awesome way to die. Although the breathing tube in the photo kinda freaks me out. I guess it makes the photo more “human” for me.
