2. Please tell me that this is only temporary and that it’s going into a room with a bunch of greasy nerds playing Halo at a LAN party… otherwise, I’m with Nimbo. Five bucks guys. Srsly.
Ready to be really horrified? That’s what the wiring at your hospital looks like. Check it. One of the leads says “Bed E”. If I had to guess, this is the patch panel for a medical imaging department, where they do MRIs or CAT Scans.
Bah! That’s not a lot of wires – I got more wires coming out of the back of my SEGA Genesis/CD/32X! 😀

Home theater system. Whole house audio distribution, in zones. Aaaaand I don’t see any HDMI. Guess they’re in for a surprise in about…. -6 months.

@...MadScientist: I believe you are correct sir. I’m going to wire my house future house even more than this one is. 2 Gigabit ports in every room, server room downstairs with climate control and UPS backups, surround sound speakers in every room manageable by room and by speakers.
That is NOT a lot of wires.
