    Britney Spears may make horrible music, but at least she’s honest about who/what she is.

    Avril Lavigne going around talking about how punk she is makes me crowbar-to-the-head mad. It’s not like she doesn’t know it’s all bullshit, either. Every interview that I see she is more prepped and secured than Sarah Palin.

    I met her once, like, nine years ago. She was only fifteen at the time, but despite how very skanky she was even then, she was a nice enough person. I don’t care for her music much, but I do respect her for accomplishing precisely what she intended to do with her life, and being now, exactly where she said she wanted to be back then. But if she joins the 27 club, I won’t mind.
