I watched a seagull eat a piece of fried chicken in a parking lot once. It swallowed a drumstick whole. I’m still laughing about it two years later.

I fed a seagull and ice cream cone once. It attempted to swallow it but ended up with a stretched neck in the shape of a cone.

I used to catch little blue gill and toss them to a blue heron that hung out a local campground. It would fling the fish around to break the barbs on its back before swallowing the fish.

I saw a heron on the way to class today. I thought it was beautiful and scenic with it just standing in the river. 3 hours later I see this and the scene is shattered.

There are a ton of Herons and rabbits near my house in central Wisconsin. The rabbits are destructive SOBs that ate most of my wife’s garden.
I applaud the Heron!
