I am truly at a loss for words.

    Sticky

On Segways? Kind of limits your ability to effectively use cover, but then again, they’d Zerg Rush the terrorists, so it doesn’t really matter.

GOR’S AT A LOSS FOR WORDS I DEMAND MORE SEGWAYS

    storminator

I rode one of these once- it was cool. It would have been WAY more fun if I’d have had a machine gun and could have gunned down my co-workers…

    drunk, tweaking slackers…

Nice caps locks Caio. Though, I noticed you’re never at a loss for words, unfortunately.

It wasn’t the Segways that left me speakless, it the stupidity of developing tactics about assualting from a segway.

Stupid fucking Chinese, but I just when you have almost endless supply of people, you don’t need to have smart tactics.

    AKircher

What are those tiny little GI Joe-sized guns they’re using, anyway?

    worldspawn

I suppose the element of surprise works here, cuz if I were a terrorist and a bunch a guys on Segways were bearing down on me, I’d be confused as hell.

Or I’d just fall over laughing.

Or I’d think “Oh, Hell no, I’m not losing to a bunch of guys on Segways.”

And then escape by running up some freakin’ STAIRS.

    yawn

Apparently the people at MCS don’t realize it’s possible to dismount from a Segway.

    FlyingMantisShrimp

Call me crazy, but maybe they don’t actually use the Segway in a real, “tactical” environment.

    Fen

From what I read, it’s just a stunt they’ve prepped for the Olympics.

Also, what you can’t see are the group of fleeing Tibetan monks off to the right.

    Ben1605

Wouldn’t it be easier to fire when moving if you’re on a segway? Kinda hard to aim while running, but if you’re on a segway, you’re essentially stood still. It’s not too stupid really.

Ah, who am I kidding, it’s ridiculous.

    hvymetal86

^^^ a more stable platform to shoot from while moving….. but also a more stable target to be shot at as well….

    MonkeyHitman

thats why they use small guns becuase if you use a m4a1 on that you get a shit load of recoil and on that thing you will be falling off your back, imagine a chinese covert ops with a barret sniping ppl in that and hes blended in a group/crowd = super tatics :p.

but walking all the way to the olympics is a nasty mean walk damn straight i would bum a lift on a segway

    Wally

I suppose it would depend on how fast these segways move. I mean if they are fast enough then they’d probably not be used in the actual fight but for rapid deployment which makes them an extremely effective tool.

Everyones entirely correct, it’d be stupid to try and fight from one of these, but to get across a large area quickly and relatively safe without attracting the large amount of attention a helo or APC would, well in that case these things are pretty well thought out!! Not to mention probably fairly cost effective.

@A.Kircher: Those are Type 79 sub machine guns. They fire a 7.62 x 25mm pistol round. First produced in 1979 hence the Type 79 name. Commonly used by Chinese police forces. More info here:

The best is the guy in the center rear rocking the sniper rifle. Oh and the guy on the far left with the AK. LOL.

    The Matrix: Rebooted

The real strategy is to be so fucking awesome that the terrorists don’t even want to attack: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.
Someone mentioned recoil and the first thing that I thought was if the gyros [could be|had been] beefed up to compensate for that.

    chris_hates_freedom

I would have thought their strategy was “laughing enemy cannot aim well”
