One amazing part is the microscopically small chance of hitting anything when going through that obital drebris.

It wouldn’t seem so amazing if the satellites were shown in actual size – because then they’d be so small that they would be invisible at the picture’s scale. Still, am I the only one that is disturbed by this? It’s like urbanization has reached space. Makes me claustrophobic.

First we destroy our planet with trash & crap, now we must move forward and trash our galaxy! Stupid Monkeys!
I doubt the effect of one planet’s inhabitants will have any noticeable negative effect on our galaxy, even if we spewed all our trash into space. I’m guessing if you just blew up our planet, it would have a similar effect on the galaxy, which is next to nothing.
I’ve gotten “Planetes”, but it’s all subbed, so I haven’t watched it yet, cause that requires that I actively read all the subs, which I hate, ugh
Lol Tiki I watched and enjoyed it, I can’t stand when it isn’t subbed. They go out of their way to change the translations to make the mouth movements a closer match. Bugs me.
