    arent these like the oldest trees on earth or sumthin?

    According to Wikipedia, it is said that some species of this genus are thousands of years old, but experts believe they rarely get over 400 years. This is impossible to verify, however, because they don’t produce annual trunk rings.

    I like how, in spite of the fact that it’s impossible to verify, the “experts” have stated that they never get older than 400 years old… Now that’s good science right there…
