I once went to the Coney Island Aquarium and met a lone walrus that I swear had a sense of humor! (For all I know, this could be it) It would press its face right up to the glass, wait for kids to approach, then blow air through its mouth and nostrils, creating huge clouds of spume, then watch in delight as the kids screamed. I also felt kind of sorry for it. As I said, it didn’t have any companions, and I felt it was doing it out of boredom as well for laughs. Marine mammals are amongst the most intelligent animals on the planet.
