Super Troopers is nothing like Reno…except the law enforcement thing. Reno 911 is more along the lines of a COPS parody while Super Troopers is more of just a movie about Hwy Patrol..not from the reality perspective.
FYI, the actual Reno Police Department has absolutely no sense of humor about this show. I speak from experience.
