Infinite Thread Part 14: User Submissions Are Disabled (permanently?)

Everything negative that has ever happened with MCS has been because of user submitted content, but I’ve been stalwartly dedicated to keeping the site open to being a community of like minded people who can share images of varying degrees of importance.  Turns out that there’s a whole community of other people out there that are completely ruining our community and are either taking advantage of our upload system, or taking advantage of the legal system to try to extract money from us.

Jokes on them though, this site (still) doesn’t make more than 5-10 bucks in profit every month.

But I’m tired of the fight.  I’ll figure something out for the site, we’re still going to have a ton of content rolling through, but as of this update, we’re no longer allowing anyone to upload any images to any of the MCS Spaces.

We made it to 20 years of idiots sharing stupid pictures with each other, now we’ll be doing it without uploads to a server that I personally have any relation with.
