Stop me if you’ve heard this before: There’s a movie named Mission Impossible about a team of people that have been disavowed by the government, have no support and must prove themselves, all while escaping their own previous team members!  Throw in a bit of the “hunting a previous agent” and you get Rogue Nation.  It’s literally just a mish mash of the previous movies with all the same actors for the most part.  It has far fewer large set pieces as Ghost Protocol and a much more intimate feel for the characters, and by all means, this is a good movie, but don’t expect anything new or exciting in the story department.  I did enjoy the fact that Ethan Hunt is becoming paradoxically more and more independent and less in need of a team of other special agents, all while getting a more and more dependable team around him from movie to movie.  Two things that stuck out to me though: it had a really cool custom IMAX launch trailer, and there was something going on with one of the character’s eyes, I think they were CGI’d, which was weird.  really noticeable and WEIRD.

His original tomb began to collapse so there was a mad scramble to “save” his body and move it to a new tomb. Not easy to accomplish as the inner coffin was almost 50 pounds of solid lead and the outer ebony coffin was later encased in nearly a foot of solid cement after multiple body-snatching attempts.
