Is that mount rainier? Heard there was some nice rides out there, but I’m on the opposite coast.

I’ve been to every one of those spots. I just rode up Windy Ridge on the east side of Mt St Helens. I rode around Mt Rainier (again) last month. I’ll ride around the Olympic Peninsula soon and ride up Hurricane Ridge. (again)

The roads on the West side of Mt. Rainier park were under construction so it was rough going while leaving the park. Aside from that, it was great. Hurricane ridge is the shit. I’ll be back. Next time out I’ll hit some beach spots too. This go around I headed inland most of the time.

If you ever get out to the east coast, check out the tail of the dragon at deals gap. It’s close to the N. Carolina / Tennessee border. 318 curves in 11 miles. It’s an awesome piece of road.

Been there- done that. I slayed the Dragon in 2001. In the rain. Towing a trailer behind my bike.

Oh man. I took a detour that sent me on that route at 2am with an overloaded vehicle full of people and gear headed to Bonnaroo from NC a couple of years back. I think I still have white knuckles.
