It’s actually pretty self explanatory. Batman is currently lost in time after being sent back to the past at the hands of Darkseid. In the old west, 1885, Batman learned that Martin McWayne, brother of Seamus (Batman’s great-great grandfather), was killed as a result of giving into inability to resist confrontation when called a coward. Fearing for his own future, in which Batman loses his job when Mr Fujitsu catches both Batman and Needles in an illegal transaction, Batman decides to not take every instance of being called “a chicken” to heart, thus avoiding the street race that led to the crash which led to the elimination of any chance that Batman could play the guitar professionally… This is noted in the missing panel above where Catwoman pulls out the fax from the future and “You’re Fired” disappears.
