My dad had a Town Car as his company car in the 70’s. When he quit his job, he and my mom left town and gave me the keys so I could clean the car up before they came to pick it up. (I already had a key… LOL)
That night, my friend and I snuck out in the middle of the night and took the car on a three-hour joy ride. It was winter in Alaska, so the roads were packed snow and ice. I had the wheels going 100mph, while the car was going maybe 35mph.
It had a 460 engine, and it went through most of the gas. It also had a quadriphonic 8 track stereo. We listened to Edgar Winter full blast. Good times.
