I think part of the reason we’re getting longer movies now is everyone nit picks everything to death. Unless every little thing is explained the “film critics” of social media yell, “Plot hole! Worst movie ever!”

At least most horror movies have kept the length reasonable. So many other movies though try to cram too much in. I think we might be better served if more of them tried cutting the unnecessary and aiming back for that 90 minute mark.
