    In Trump’s Defense: Showing up would be epically stupid. There’s literally nothing he could say that wouldn’t be either self-incriminating in terms of CONFRAUDUS, Insurrectionist Conspiracy, or just plain USC 18-1001, lying to Congress.

    If needed, his lawyers should physically restrain him from showing up; permitting him to testify, (except to plead the Fifth to essentially every question), would be legal malpractice.
