    I thought docking an animal’s tail (horses & dogs seem to be the main victims) was illegal in western countries. Or is tucked in and under like some weird equine equivalent of a TV?
    Otoh if some kind soul had docked Trump’s head as soon as he was born I wouldn’t complain.

    It’s definitely not illegal in the US, I’ve owned dog that where docked before I owned them.

    you can’t “dock” a horses tail , it’s hair . you can cut it or as in this case braid it into a bun. dog’s tails are flesh and bone.
