    There is almost certainly enough spare wood in that space that he could have put enough pieces side by side to form a far more stable platform to do this with. He’d even be up higher because the legs of the stool would all be on a flat surface. God damnit dude.

    you can see he’s trying to brace himself for the inevitable fall by holding onto that one piece of wood. wanna put money on it failing if his step stool would fail?
