That monstrosity of a building is the SteelStacks, in Bethlehem, PA. I live not too far from there. It was built for what became the Bethlehem Steel Corporation, which began around the Civil War (1864ish). They were one of the world’s largest steel producing and shipbuilding companies. Their steel help build a few well known things:

Verrazano-Narrows Bridge
Alcatraz Island
World Trade Center
Madison Square Garden
One Chase Manhattan Plaza
Rockefeller Center
Hoover Dam

Now it’s a public space. There’s a casino there, and they hold all sorts of festivals on the property.
