There’s two different series by this name that both do the same gimmick of having the letters of “avengers” on each of the 8 issues, which is the primary reason that I bought both of the series. I can’t find any record of it, but I read the other one thinking it was the first one to be released (it wasn’t) and thinking it’d be a good read (nope). This one however, is vastly superior and is actually a great read with captivating art and a story that retells / reimagines the first few years of The Avengers.
Now I need to figure out how to best display these on my display shelf. Maybe have two in each frame and I just flip them around from time to time?
