Hardhome (pictured) was an A+ episode. The cinematography in the dead army attack scene was incredible, especially considering the low light. I mean, it was thrilling, how fast and furious the dead are…that face off moment with Jon and the Night King, raising his arms and the new ranks. Brr.

Just off the top of my head. So many characters. Deffs Jon Snow, he’s on borrowed time as it is and can’t be having incest rulers, it’s not Egypt.

Hype. It’s been a fun ride. So beautifully made and well-acted, even if it does sacrifice real magic, and fleshed out faith for melodrama and rolling set pieces. Read some of one book, didn’t like it at all.

Anyway, we will see.

Grade = c –
Highlight – Sansa, every line, including what she didn’t say, and gorgeous to watch. Her scene with Tyrion was a delight.
Hilarious – Bran being parked outside overnight in the Winter so as to stare on at someone he was waiting for. Took me a while to figure the wait was intentional not because all his friends and wheelers are uhm DEAD. Bran of the all-knowing stare and the slightly flared nostrils, why no-one wheels him to face the walls, I do not know.
Beyond dumb – Jon and Dany riding off on the dragons for a tryst, you know to expend some of their precious energy as the dragons aren’t eating well. During a war, no recon mission, I mean really. I’m thinking who should die is Dany. She’s always been inevitable and stiff once she did her whole becoming arc, but now, she just looks so out of place amongst the Northerners, especially the badass Starks.
Plain silly – Urine Greyjoy keeping Yara alive because … he’s got no-one to talk with man to man I mean so Theon can rescue her real easy…

Maybe I’ll comment on each ep, maybe not. Anyone else watching?
