I tried to find the answer; I really did. The only Trek/DeSalle item I found was a science officer named DeSalle, BUT he was on Kirk’s Enterprise, so that can’t be right. Sorry.
i thought it would have something to do with Desilu Productions, but now I’m doubting that.
Might be because the artist’s last name is DeSalle. Just sayin’.
