Damn! I got my TM’s mixed up! My Time Machines and my Thin Mans. Here is the correct version for those of you confused by the sudden intrusion of a time machine into a nineteen thirties detective/comedy series.

If you haven’t seen this one, give it a try. Great fun. Interesting fact – Dashiell Hammett’s novel was adapted by real life husband and wife, Hackett and Goodrich, and it really shows. (They got an Oscar nomination for it) The dialogue just fizzes with chemistry. One of cinema’s best couples.
