Originally i thought the pointy parts were the underside of her tech-goggles when she had them pushed up on the top of her head, but with all the Bane & C-Woman-related images showing them playing with batman’s toys, it would be pretty awesome IMO if Nolan was making Catwoman just some smart high-tech criminal who teams up with Bane, and upon pillaging Batman’s tech stash together, she wears a cut-up version of his mask to mock him (both literally and symbolically)

Seeing the Bat Cave raided and all Batman’s toys used against him & Gotham would be a great way to add to Bane & Catwoman’s development as crazy-but-smart SOB’s, rather than expecting the audience to just recognize who they are from other movies/comics and just ‘accept’ their characters. It would also be a way for Batman to hit rock bottom, as the cave was always his spiritual & tech sanctuary. And as any filmmaker/storyteller knows, the best thing about having the protagonist hit rock bottom is that very soon, you can have them “rise.”
