Ugliest character designs in manga.
Never really like Toriyama’s stuff myself, but I really enjoyed the shit out of Chrono Trigger.
It’s kind of weird. When I see Dragon Ball art I am overwhelmed by a feeling of indifference, but I get warm fuzzy feeling whenever I see something from Chrono Trigger. It’s funny how I feel two different things about art from the same guy.
Of course I’m probably the only guy on this board who played through Chrono Trigger.
I’m assuming that last line was said in jest.

When I mention the game to “current” gamers, no one seems to know what I’m talking about.
Actually I should have said that better. There’s probably a few on this board who know what it is. I should have said that it’s obscure to the gaming population as a whole, re-releases not withstanding.
You are the first person I’ve seen on der internetz that has said so. THANK YOU! I freakin’ can’t STAND his art style. They all look like they suffer from downs syndrome.
I might have watched more than a single season of the show if they labeled them as season 1, season 2, etc. Too much effort to figure out what order all the series go in otherwise. 😉 That and I don’t have time to watch the (I’m assuming) 100+ hours of the anime.
