R1 Convention is there this week. First time in 2 years I can’t make it. And it is not just a “curvy cement road” It is a curvy cement road that goes up and down a mountain.
That is only 1 of many roads along the Blue Ridge. I was down in Floyd county this weekend. +1600mile run and we got a local rider to show us some of the roads. Imagine a whole county full of Dragon’s and NO traffic, NO popularity, NO patrols!
I’m hoping to do this in the early fall this year with some friends who’ve done it before.
The whole area is great riding. I rode The Dragon towing a trailer, in the rain. I came around a blind corner, and there was 53′ tactor trailer rig in MY LANE! I barely got by him.
