Just some photoshop I made after talking with friends about how the CGI suit for the new Green Lantern sucks too much and how the suit from the old Flash tv series still today is kick ass awesome.

I think the new suit is awesome. And it works plotwise too.
I really don’t think it would sell good. I mean c’mon. Alien species with crazy unworldly technology.
And they give you a cloth/spandex uniform?
This ain’t the 50’s anymore.
Having the original costume would have made the movie worse. The entire audience would be too distracted by a spandex costume than something of a more alien feel.

Excellent point. The suit is made of light anyway, fabric wouldn’t make any sense.
As far as the Flash suit from the show, it was cool. A tad on the musclebound side, but still cool. I like Wally/Barry best when the artist draws them lean. More aerodynamic. How did you guys feel about Blackest night? I thought the avatars that the rings chose were perfect based on emotion.

Since when has Wonder Woman emphasized love? She’s a career-woman heroine who rarely has a boyfriend.
Luthor works for some interpretations on his personality (authors not being consistent and all).
Is Flash (and are you talking Wally or Barry?) the truly most hopeful of the DC heroes? I’d say that the greatest Hope comic character was Ronnie Raymond/Martin Stein era Firestorm. Hey, it was about the hope for a world without nukes. Pretty strong stuff.

BLUE LANTERN, WHY U NO ABLE DO ANYTHING?
Not impressed. In the TV show years ago there was an episode where Barry Allen Flash was cloned. Clone was named Pollux (one of the Gemini twins from Greek mythology). Clone had the same powers. Wore a blue version of the Flash suit. So, seen it. Next.
