But for some reason I interpreted this image as “They are remaking The Thing”
So I was like WHAT THE SHIT
By original I meant the 1951 version. My dad would put it on during every snowstorm. Then one time the asshole had to put the new version in. I was like six. I didn’t have the balls to watch it again until a few days ago.
They are actually remaking The Thing, I can feel it in my bones that I’m going to hate it.
John Carpenter at some of his best. Kurt Russel, as well.
I need to watch this movie, I remember I downloaded the PC game once because back then I took spanish movie titles too literally and I thought “La Cosa” was “The Thing”, but upon further research the american title was “The Blob”. Since I got sidetracked by the game’s name I avoided the movie.
It’s time I make amends with Carpenter.

Great movie. Saw another good Carpenter file recently, In the Mouth of Madness. Very Lovecraftian.
I loved that one, it’s like one big mindfuck.
