Went to a wildlife reserve in Napa, CA this summer with a friend, took some photographs.

    The fox had lost his mate about two weeks before, he was so depressed. Fennecs mate for life, and I think he was about eight years old. They said he was coping a bit better, but it makes me sad to think of something so adorable looking so depressed.

    I think Doomflinger was right about it being a Barking Deer aka Muntjac. A very young one. I think the face is the telling part.
