    I am with this idea…man how I would love to be in that area.

    Civilization is over-rated. I would love to play real-life Grizzly Adams.

    actually.. this area (ticino, lago maggiore) is rather densely populated, and touristic.

    .. there are a lot more remote spots in the US or especially Canada.

    I am thinking certain parts of Alaska mebbe…I can deal with bugs and such during the summer months…or is it month?
