One of the most orginal movies ever, with the added bonus of the never ending legs of Ellen Barkin.

One of the 80s crapiest pieces of hollywood industry, I regret watching it till the end including the bonus scenes.

Damn Buckaroo could do everything, PhD in physics, Rock star, car racer and hero all in one single package.

You forgot Neurosurgeon, has cool side-kicks like Perfect Tommy, Reno, Rawhide and looks good in red glasses.

One of the best movies to see during the mid-night movie era (watching it alone on the DVD isn’t do it justice).

Weird movie. Takes repeated showings to actually understand what happened, but has some of the best lines ever and an incredibly catch theme song.

    Mobius

Oh god, one of the best movies ever. But anyone who likes it needs to read the novelization, which was bizarrely about twice as fleshed-out and deep as the movie was.

I actually use the Theme/March for my outro theme for my radio show over on Radio Rexx….. Had several folks asking about it, so I tell them the history heh. One of the best movies evah!!

This is a great movie. Had to watch it four times before I “got” it, but it’s still a great movie! “Use more hornets! Find out what she knows!!” and “Where are we going?” “Planet Ten!” “When?” “Real soon!”

I love this movie, yes it’s dated, yes, it’s silly to the point of stupid, but it’s supposed to be a cheese-fest! And the thing is, it was lovingly crafted to be overcreamy and delicious cheese! I completely dig the music, and the fact that he’s just so over the top King Of Everything Cool just makes it all the better.
And lets face it, John Lithgow has never, and probably will never, turn in a more over the top and completely crazed performance.

I assume that anyone who avers to like this film means they love that it comes across as though it was written by a 14 year old.

It was “Use more honey” not hornets.

Since they were trying to torture her with honey and red ants to get her to talk and you can see John O’Connor pouring honey on her earlier in the scene.
