You know, it may be my oversensitive sense of symmetry at work, but every time I see this, I keep asking myself: Why didn’t the place the firing dish symmetrically on the equatorial line, or at one of the poles? That off-center placement kinda bugs me. I mean, think about it. It’s a giant sphere. They could have placed it anywhere they wanted. Why there?
