I finally purchased the 2 or 3 issues that I was missing and boy howdy, was I happy with it when I finally got to reading them. There’s about 23 out as this review, and for the most part each issue is a fairly quick read, but the plot moves with intensity. I was able to read them all in just a couple hours and now I want more, but it’s going to be slow going.

There was a time that I would mention the show to friends, but with the advent of the toxic brony fandom, I stopped doing that, but if you’re able to watch it for what it is, a show about friends learning lessons and keeping that knowledge in future episodes, set to song, and accompanied by Q from Star Trek.

Directed by Andrea Berloff. With Melissa McCarthy, Tiffany Haddish, Elisabeth Moss, Domhnall Gleeson. The wives of New York gangsters in Hell’s Kitchen in the 1970s continue to operate their husbands’ rackets after they’re locked up in prison.

The trailers made this to be more of a comedy than it ended up being, which was a legit street level period piece set in the 70’s. Enjoyable and I think even re-watchable.  I will say that I wasn’t 100% on board with the editing of the film, it could have used a bit more TLC.

The first episode out and it’s almost everything I could hope for. The main theme is pretty forgettable, but Patrick Stewart really comes out swinging and doesn’t stop for the entire episode.
