I suspect it is on its way down. Either it was hit by the bomb payload of a plane above it, or it was hit by another airplane. The rudder is half gone, and the left elevator is bent up. Possible flack. But the entire left wing coming off shouldn’t have happened by a flack hit. The right aileron is up, so either the pilot is fighting to keep it aloft- or the controls have failed. Either way, they are fucked.
