Cute Cosplayer
Just found these while reading very high-minded and important internet things. I don’t know who the third character is supposed to be (I mean, obviously, Mira, but I don’t know the reference).

Zion National Park 1
This was my second trip through. It is an amazing place. Second most beautiful park I have ever seen. The filmed Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid there.
Engines of Armageddon
Very nice and dark photo of a band I went to see a few weeks ago. Not quite sure how to describe them, but “bonged-out thrash-power-doom-groove” is what someone else has written.
Regret
Some things aren’t worth it in hindsight…
(I don’t recall where I got the original photo, sorry.)

Seed Cathedral – Shanghai
This is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen.
I just heard Butthead in my mind.

An extraordinary bristling form of 60,000 fibre-optic rods, each with a seed implanted in its tip.
Bill Gates’s Mug Shot
Microsoft’s founder and the world’s richest man, Bill Gates, was photographed by the Albuquerque, New Mexico police in 1977 after a traffic violation. Most nerdy… Mug shot… Ever!
My car wishes it was a Cobra…
Since cashmods asked, here is my toy car. 2002 Miata. 57000 mi. Totally mine, no lien holders. The 4th pic shows the difference between a style bar and a real roll bar… it actually bolts down to the bottom of the chassis. The other views are pretty self explanatory.
So far:
-Suspension has been modded somewhat (Bilsteins added, new sway bars).
– Door bars and “Frog Arms” have been added for stiffness.
– Stage 3 ceramic clutch and lightened flywheel.
– Better brakes, pads (Wildwood) and brake controller.
– New wheels (Koenig) and tires (Falken).
– Stainless steel brake lines.
– Mazdaspeed motor mounts.
– Double hoop roll bar (Boss Frog)
– A little rechargeable flashlight that goes in the lighter socket. ; )
To come (hopefully): Koni or Xida coilovers, Rotrex Supercharger, Megasquirt fuel injection system, FM Intercooler setup, 3″ back cat exhaust, 15×9 6UL wheels (949 Racing). Racing stripes?
Thats all assuming I don’t get REALLY ambitious and put a V8 in it…

Monument Valley National Park
A beautiful place. And, a windy place. Some of the greatest westerns every made were filmed here.

The Temple of Light
“Fog enshrouds the abandoned Tripureshwar Mahadev Mandir Temple, a cultural heritage site in Nepal. It was built as a traditional Newari temple by Queen Lalita Tripura Sundari in 1818. Located in Kathmandu, there has been talk of restoring this veiled temple.”
Jean Leon Gerome – Pollice Verso
This is actually a still from Gladiator staring Russell Crowe and some other guys like Jesus or something. I dunno didn’t really attention when it was on, I was high on crack or something. Enjoy.
The Unser Racing Museum 4
More winning race cars. The best part is that you can get right next to them and check out all of the mechanics involved. Good stuff.
