In before "jet fuel" blah, blah blah. My Sub was on wooden blocks, with a 20 foot hole in its' side (a condition known to be not conducive to floating on water). When it went down, we were given the order to get out to sea, no argument. Base was in hard lockdown for three days. The base looked to me like an ant nest that was kicked over. By the time we were water-tight, some level of sanity returned. Base stayed weird after that (full vehicle inspection for never-existent bombs).

Back in '99, I heard her do a radio interview. From back when she was a dancer in Vegas, she had an evening with Tom and his Jones. Due to, uhm, mechanical incompatibility, she needed stitches afterwards. The way she delivered the story, damn near drove off road from laugh. Also, saw an interview after being public. She's a gem.

Simple goal post movement. So, as to when they evacuate Ukraine, they can still "claim" victory. Their statement gives a hint that they are thinking about leaving.

First thought is "projection much" considering that their boy Drumfph wanted to do *soooooo* many autocratic bullshit, and their new boy, Desantis want to perform an ideological purge of 50% of the FBI if he was elected..... But one hat to understand that Fox News is the mouthpiece of Murdock, like as in the output of Fox has been tracked to emails of Murdock. One has to follow Fox, as much as one should follow "Truth", and as much as one should follow Pravda. In Russian, ''pravda'' means truth and ''izvestia'' means news, and the old joke about the Soviet press was that there's no truth in Pravda and no news in Izvestia. Fox for the last decade or so has been the American Pravda.

There's also the chance of some of the "he's not taking my sound legal advice, so why should I go down with him", sprinkled with "he stomped his feet while demanding that I do something patently illegal". I mean, by now he has a multitude of examples of lawyers that are *fucked* for doing some flavor of the the above. Giuliani is not getting paid, and faces potential full debarment. Powell is getting sued. Habba got hit with pay the other side sanctions (which only happens when the suit was egregious). Chris Kise was smart enough to ask for retainer upfront, but has been pushed to bench warmer since I assume he refused to do the patently illegal stuff. Trusty is possibly the first Trump lawyer that isn't flatly corrupt, and had enough wherewithal to find an off ramp on this highway.

For a Jr. High "Science Fair" I made a back-pack over sized reservoir using two 3 liter bottles with garden hose. Gluing garden hose to plastic caps on the bottles worked about as well as you would think

There's a good reason for it.... the current group of MAGA republicans (small R) are incapable of leading, and therefore can only hold a contrarian position against leadership (aka, everyone not them). The bulk of the Executive branch and the bulk of Congress are *for* Ukraine, therefore the MAGA right are against it, which happens to be *for* Russia. The Irony is now MAGA is everything McCarthy was moral panicing against.
