Directed by Tate Taylor. With Jessica Chastain, John Malkovich, Common, Geena Davis. Ava is a deadly assassin who works for a black ops organization, traveling the globe specializing in high profile hits. When a job goes dangerously wrong she is forced to fight for her own survival.

A tried and true formula of an Assassin with a problem, who is then burned by her agency in a sudden but inevitable betrayal of trust. Jessica Chastain is great in the role, John Malkovich is notably on the top of his game, Common is present, and Colin Farrell has the most evil mustache i’ve ever seen in a movie.

    I watched this movie tonight. It was predictable, poorly written, miscast, poorly acted, and boring as fuck except when she’s fighting. I give it two thumbs down. WAY down.
