    This solar car is designed to break records. The global solar energy industry is expected to reach $422 billion by 2022 from $86 billion in 2015, growing at a CAGR of 24.2% from 2016 to 2022. President Flaming Hot Cheeto cost this country a big slice of that money with his policies, his tariff on imported solar panels has led U.S. renewable energy companies to cancel or freeze investments of more than $2.5 billion in large installation projects, along with thousands of jobs.

    Yea. Not only does solar power manage to be both the most environmentally destructive method of electricity generation ever invented, both in terms of dangerous heavy metals and land use/destruction, but it is radically ineffective.

    Worst case with solr is that a panel falls over and kills someone that was sitting underneath it.

    Worst case with nuclear is that entire regions of the planet are made unlivable for centuries, mutating and killing millions of people around the world from the apocalyptic fallout.

    I HAVE done the research, I’ve see the effects, I’ve worked around radiation and it’s scary as fuck. i’ve also worked around solar panels, and other than being heavy and hot, not much to worry about there.
