The UK/Euro version looks way better in white
One of the reasons I work in IT today. So many “D” cell batteries sacrificed their lives to make this possible. Good gravy, how I used to terrify the housecats when they were sleeping with this thing… Good times, good times…
A friend of mine had this but EVERY time I was over we’d try and use it and it would need new batteries. 🙁
were rechargeable batteries not big in your neck of the woods?
Almost non-existent for that time frame.
Imagine all those single use batteries, littering so many landfills.
Imagine all the accumulated lead and mercury…
