I’m not sure the Cardinal’s territory extends that far south, but interesting.
Also does not show the border clashes on the frontier between yankee and red sox..
I think they left that along the NY state border for simplicity. Stabbing into that nightmare would be like mapping Viking-Packer-Bears territory in football.
You are correct. As someone who lives in central Wisconsin, the border between the Packers, Vikings and Bears so called “territories” is VERY undefined at best.
It doesn’t help that Minnesota’s franchise is rather new, so many boomers here are still Packer’s fans, The Twin Cities’ metropolitan reach reaches far enough that places like Sommerset are sometimes called “the greater metropolitan area,” and Chicago is so big it’s suburban spread reaches up and abuts Milwaukee–and honestly, is there a reason why Milwaukee should be loyal to a team that plays in Green Bay and Madison (and now only Green Bay)?
The Packers only play their home games in Green Bay. They used to play half of their home games in Milwaukee but that ended in the early 90s. (To honor those people who had season tickets at County Stadium a number of games played at Lambeau are considered “Gold Package” games and only those who had tickets at County Stadium are allowed to use their season tickets during those games.)They also used to play a pre-season game at Camp Randal in Madison but that too ended in the early 90s. Besides, the Packers represent Wisconsin not only Green Bay. Why do you think Packer fans are called Cheeseheads?

The astros country is bullshit, no one in Houston supports them or cares, and outside of Houston really no one cares about the stros.

If maybe they don’t have a strong following this season it may have something to do with the fact they are dead last.
When this team does well though, people support them with their left nut.
Northern Oregon has no baseball fans and is not Giants territory.
It is all strip clubs.
The Mets territory is WAY too big! 🙂
Most games, Mets territory doesn’t even include their home stadium.
