Regrettably, there’s a better-than-even possibility that Judge Aileen “Loose” Cannon, is going to get the case, and she can, in fact, dismiss it, in a way that is unreviewable, and double-jeopardy will obtain, so that Trump walks away. I’m not trying to be a Debbie-downer… just noting that it is too soon to break out the champagne and claim our democracy is saved. Based on her behavior in the search warrant case, (the lead-up to this case), she’s uninterested in the actual law, and only interested in giving Trump a pass. We’ll see.
