Wait, so Disney gets blamed for the bad one, but not credit for the good one? I mean, technically Disney did both. Or you could credit the first image to J.J., or whomever had the idea to bring back Palpatine if you’re going to credit individuals for the second one.
The Clone Wars series was before the sale to Disney. Lucasfilm did the show and Warner Brothers distributed.
Ah right. Weirdly I forgot when the purchase happened.
Looking at the timeline, looks like Maul came back in season 4, which started airing towards the end of 2011 and the acquisition was about a year later.
